How to setup Autotopoff.com

Hey friends,

I felt a bit cavalier with my DIY skills and got the Autotopoff.com Double with bracket. Unfortunately, my Ikea'esque skills are non existent without specific instructions.

Could someone please help me get started on setting these up?

The ATO system I am trying to build is

1) Sensor + float = Autoptopoff.com
2) Pump = Toms Aqualifter
3) Reservoir = Reliance Aqua-Tainer 7 gallon

Please help!

Also, What can I use to hold the 1/4 OD tubing in the sump and the ATO reservoir?

I did see that. Looks more of a description of the system than installation instructions.

Thank you though

What parts exactly do you have? Can you post pics? FYI: You can get a JBJ ATO for about $65 shipped. I can't see you doing this yourself for much less.

The autotopoff unit is pretty much plug and play. About the only thing you may have to do is to adjust the location of each float on the black plastic bracket. That's just a matter of sniping the zip ties and installing new ones. I also zip tie the ATO refill hose to the side of the bracket. Just make sure the end is above the sump water level so it doesn't back siphon.
