Whatever the parent light is named. I forget the naming scheme as I sold mine when I upgraded.

I don't remember to be honest. It was a while ago, and once I went that route they were set and forget. Never had another connection problem. I will say that you need to make sure to clear the memory properly whenever establishing a new connection. I believe the setup guide tells you what the flashing lights mean. I think one color means its synced as a parent, the other means its the slave. I thought blue green meant it was trying to establish a connection, but that was over a year ago that I set them up. Reference the documentation though, i'm positive its in there somewhere.

Their wifi setup is a pain at best. Customer service seems to be below par. They are really slick lights for a good price. I had several issues both on setup and customer service getting them replaced and would consider them again.

Extremely Disappointed in AquanIllumination

Final thoughts the color mismatch has happened again...! I give up enough is enough. These lights need there wifi setup completely reprogrammed they disconnect all the time also! Wish i could go back in time and not have bought these. If you are going to charge that much for lights make sure the programs/ leds are on par . Its sad i can go with a chinese led for athird of the price and have better results!

So what you are saying is that having both lights at the same exact color setting yields a different visual color?

K so the problem you are having is related to diode binning. Basically the bin of the blues on one of the pucks differs from the other. This a problem with Cree mainly as their binning is just absolute crap. Trying to get exact matching binning from them is like pulling teeth.

Now more likely the bin of the diodes AI bought is all supposed to be the same so the problem lies with Cree quality control. They basically labeled a massive bin of LEDs one thing when they were supposed to be another. Since you keep getting replacement pucks more likely all the diodes on their replacements is basically tainted. So what you can do is ask AI for replacement pucks for all of your lights since it's obvious their replacement batch is different than their shipping which makes sense as the ones that came with the light were built a long time ago while the replacement ones are fresher.

So when they swapped out I assume they just sent you one puck and not a replacement for all of them?

I don't see how they didn't realize this the second you told them about the problem.
