Can 2 candy cane pistols live with 1 watchman goby?

I forget, can two shrimp live with one goby or two gobies with one shrimp? Or does it matter? This is for a 10 gallon reef.

Thanks.

Testing, testing.

I'm planning to get 2 candy cane pistol shrimp to go along with 1 watchman goby. Will this work in a 10 gallon reef with no other fish/shrimp/crabs?

Thanks.

2 gobies can live with a shrimp, that I know. Not sure the shrimps will coexist together though.

The fish store here had 2 pistols paired with a pair of yasha gobies. It was so cool watching them. I currently have a yasha goby and watchman paired with my one pistol.

Yeah, Mandarin, they're fun to watch in a small tank. I wanted to try 2 pistols with my watchman but not if it might cause problems.

One of the reasons is that I quarantine inverts for 72 days. That's a long time to wait and if something happens to one, I'll have a spare. If everyone gets along it will be interesting to watch how 2 shrimp work with 1 goby and pop out of the same hole!

The pistols need to be a pair for it to work but Randall are small and even if they aren't you might be lucky and have enough space for them to avoid each other.

I have multiple shrimps and gobies and the shrimps at times go from burrow to burrow for excavation and often help each other.

Just wanted to update. Received the 2 pistol shrimp. Tried to acclimate them in the same container and they immediately went after each other, snapping away. No surprise there, really.

Maybe they were just checking each other out, but I decided to put them in separate containers and finish acclimation. Then I added them to my fishless reef for further quarantining. They each started burrows on opposite ends of the tank.

We'll see how that works.
