Trouble With Keeping Alkalinity Up

Hello Everyone,

I have a 29 gallon with a 10 gallon sump. My alkalinity usually stays around 7.5 KH. I use Kents A and B for calcium and alkalinity. I also use Reef Ions Magnesium.

I try to dose small amounts due to having a small tank. When I do increase the alkalinity, it will go back to 7.5 after a short period of time.

What is recommended to keep the alkalinity at 9 KH?

Calcium: 420 ppm
Magnesium: 1360 ppm
PH: 8.2 during the day, I haven't tested at night.

I use Red Sea tests.
