So disapointes

So i have re-entered the hobby after a 2 year break i go to my lfs sat and check visually each tank all look good no apparent signals of disease. I purchase a clown which is doing very well tonight as we speak. But i go back to that same lfs to get other items and bam it looks like someone took a saltshaker to ALL of the marine fish they have... i mean it went from what looked like nothing to full blown outbreak in 48 hours there. I am really worried about my tank. My guy looks and acts really good but i mean he has to have it right?

If you suspect so, put him in a QT immediately.

That is how ich parasite works.. Also if you see that that LFS has NO Corals or inverts in the tanks they keep there fish. you can almost bed they are DOSING THOSE TANKS WITH Copper and HYPO-SALINITY..I think lfs stores should tell customers and explain about QT and reasons why its hard for them to do . oR THEY Should qt everything and and only sell things after they know its clean and healthy.

its a Tough and hard position for a LFS..

Was just thinking about that myself how an lfs should really quarantine first. This lfs has more empty tanks behind their system then they have full. They could certainly do so.
