Yellow tang in 25g QT
I recently setup a 6 foot 125g tank and I need some opinions if a 25 gallon tank would be large enough to quarenteen a yellow tang. I also have a 55g that I could use but it would be a big hassle.
(I will not be purchasing the fish until my tank has cycled) What do you guys think? |

How large is the tang and How long is your QT protocol?
A small juvenile I would more than likely use the 25g an adult then I would probably opt for the 55g. I would also only have the tang in the QT. Good luck just my 2 cents.

I will typically do TTM followed by 4-5 weeks(depends on work schedule) in the main QT. At some point I will do 2 rounds of prazi, usually during TTM.

It depends on the size of the fish, to some extent, granted this isn't too long a stay.
