AI Prime Led
I really want to buy the AI Prime Led, i loe the controlability and it is so compact. It will cost 200$ alone(i still need to pay for shipping and the mount), so it will cost me a good bit of money. I want to make sure this is the light i want. For those who used this light can you please share your experience? And do you recommend it for a 9 gal tank with lps and softies?

i love the AI products, a little more affordable compared to the kessils, ecotechs.... but in my opinion they work just as well. I had 2 of the primes over a 90 (which originally was only going to be fish only) but i wound up putting some softies in there and they did really well! i wound up upgrading to a bunch of the Hydra 26 HD's for this and went full out reef tank. I took some of the corals out and put them in a 20gallon Innovative Marine and put one of the extra Hydra 26HD over it, things are growing like crazy! An AI Prime would be great over a 9 gallon...you probably wouldn't have to use much power for it either since its such a small tank. Bottom line i would recommend the prime, or any AI unit for that matter as i have been impressed with their products

It will easily work over a 9 gallon tank, I have a Kessil 160 over my 7 gallon tank I am playing with my AI Prime HD. It is a very powerful light so you will need to turn it way down. I started on the lowest setting on my Kessil and ramped it up over a year. the arm is only about 25 bucks and you should get free shipping unless you are outside the US.

I thought so because you mentioned that you had to pay for shipping I guess you can say that we are spoiled here.

Have an AI prime over my 20 gallon and it works great. The built in WiFi controller is really cool
