Pacific Sun Kore dosing pump software failure

Hi,

I just returned from the Xmas holidays and found the doser with a continuous beep, the KH container full and the Ca and mineral salt containers almost empty. It had an alarm about the KH container empty.

I was always thinking what would the doser do if the containers are refilled but the capacity settings in the software are not refilled. Nevertheless I refilled both physically the containers and also connected to the unit to refill the capacity of all 3 containers in the software, but for some reason apparently the kh setting was not refilled. The first day it was ok before I left for holidays.

I checked all 3 capacities and they were full but the doser failed for the KH. In addition it makes no sense that the dosing stops because it believes that one container is empty. It should try to dose.

I did not investigate much but do not see a way to disable the containers capacity. And trying to set a big capacity is not possible, the maximum is 5 liters.

I also have a pacific sun lamp and have the same impression: good hardware with terrible software.

I got many acroporas and now the kh is 3 after 2 weeks without dosing kh. Ca and mineral salt were ok. I will try to raise it slowly.

I have many Jebao dosing pumps and never experience a software problem with them. They are easy and not so cumbersome and prone to failures as the kore. With the GHL no problems at all in many years.

Cheers

Hello.
Please contact with our service directly - they will help You.
You could make memory backup and send mbf file. They will check Your settings in our doser.

Best regards
Pacific Sun Service.

Thanks, I made the question in the other post.

Is it possible to disable the containers capacity setting in the Kore in the way that it is not necessary to connect to the kore and refill the containers in the software every time that the containers are empty?

Other way would be to disable the alarm and avoid that the kore stops dosing when it believes that the container is empty

Regards

You can't disable the containers capacity - however you can turn off sound alarm(setting it for one minute daily for example.
Kore 5th will still dose liquids but on LCD will see prompt info that container #1(for example) is empty and need to be refilled.

Regards
