300 dd fish room build
Hi everyone. This is my first time posting a build thread and I would like some advice on a few things.
This will be an in-wall 300 DD build with 15 × 17 room behind the aquarium. Let me start by listing what I have currently. 300 DD aquarium 125 gal 6 ft aquarium (possible sump) (4) 40 gal breeders (5) 10 gallons ASM g6 skimmer I need advice on lighting (was thinking about t5/mh combination). Amount of live rock (not a wall but open space aquascape). Sump suggestions Controller or not? Ideas for mixing station & automatic water change set up. Please provide any suggestions and comments. I want to do this correct the first time. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk |

I would suggest using 3 400w halides with either radiums or ushio 10k with t5s. Its tried and true and if you get magnetic ballast they will probably last 20 yrs or more.
With this set up you could keep anything you want. If you want just softies and fish you could use pretty much any light set up, which ever one fits your taste. |
