need plumbing part/idea that is not getto.

OK so I just got the Eheim compact 3000 pump. to replace my quite one that is failing. the Eheim does not come with threaded outlet. over looked that.
really sucks to I need this up and running ASAP.


so I need to go from 5/8" ID hose to a 1/25" threaded? to my flex PVC
how to I do this with out using a ton of attachments?

Should just take a couple fittings available at your local improvement/hardware store..
A barb/male thread first.. Then you can probably find a female to slip and a couple more and done..

I tried that at the local Ace..with the help of the plumbing dude we could not do it with out used 5 fittings.

guess what am asking is, is there a barbed 5/8 to 1.25 thread out there some where?

You will probably have to use two fittings. Something like 1 1/4" male to 3/4" reducer, then 3/4" to 5/8" barb.
