Ecoxotic E-Series Full Spectrum LED
Does anyone have any experience with this light? I have it for my freshwater tank now but was wondering if it would work for a reef tank if I used it w/another led light. I have one of those $100 Chinese led light boxes from amazon on my 34 gal reef tank(works great for the price, growing my corals nicely so far), I was thinking of using that w/the ecoxotic light when i transfer over to a 90 gal in a few months. Would this work or should I just invest in a better lighting system? I probably won't grow any acros or other tough corals mostly softies, zoas and easier sps/lps.
Thanks for the help, |

They're primarily for freshwater, if they're the same ones I've seen. They also focus on a warmer light instead of a cooler one (10,000K+), so they're not ideal for corals.

Thanks for the reply, I figured it wouldn't be great for corals just wanted to see if anyone has had success before. I will probably just get another LED in the future
