Rodi pump question

So my we'll water requires me to aerate it to remove co2 before running through the RODI. So I will fill up a water container with my well water and aerate it for a day and then put a pump in the tank to run it through the rodi. My question is can I just use a regular old booster pump to do this? Has anyone built a setup similar to this?

I've never had to aerate my well water before running it through my RODI. I run mine through a booster pump then through a double RO membrane and I've upped my production to 4 gallons in 25 minutes. What is the reason behind removing the CO2?

If the Co2 is very high in the well water it will consume DI resin at a rapid pace. Like super quick!!!

One of the most common reasons for low DI cartridge life is high carbon dioxide content in low pH waters. CO2 levels in low pH waters like well waters can be as high 50-100 ppm. Since carbon dioxide is a small dissolved gaseous molecule it passes right through the reverse osmosis membrane. Carbon dioxide is weakly ionized and is not detected in conductivity measurements, however it occupies the anion-exchange sites in the deionization cartridge significantly reducing their expected life-time. Therefore, CO2 removal from RO product water significantly enhances the life-time of the deionization cartridges.

Exactly. High co2 content will eat through di resin. So what I'm going to have to do is fill a container with water and aerate that container, then throw a pump in it and pump it through the rodi I do another container. My question is cam I just use a booster pump to do that

Try and aerate it with some kind of fresh air intake if possible, air in the house is saturated with co2. Also by aerating it you will be oxidizing any dissolved iron in the water which wells can have a lot of, makes it filterable by your pre filters and will improve the life of your ro membrane but you may see the prefilters clog up faster.

I would just try it and if it doesnt work throw a jebao or something in the tank to feed the booster pump a little possitive pressure

Booster pump is the answer. A powerhead pump would do nothing.
