What size MP pump to get?

I have a standard 75G setup with roughly 600 pH overflow and a single Ecodrift 4.1. I simply cannot get enough flow with this overflow/wave pump combo so I am considering putting an Ecotech at the opposite side of the tank. I am looking for opinions on getting the MP10 or the MP40 and why? I will probably move the Ecodrift towards the back of the tank and put it in continuous mode once I get the new pump. Thanks for any input!

I'd certainly go with the 40 due to the tank size.

I have 2 MP10's on a 42 gallon hex tank and don't use them at max. With that said with the distance across your tank the MP40's would be way to go.

Likewise on my 40B. My two MP10s are at 50% power. But I only have softies and LPS. There's a member here who's using 4 MP10s for his 33 gallons SPS dominant tank.

For a 4ft. long tank, I'll go with two MP40s, and definitely the "QD" version. The "ES" are too noisy, IME.
