Thanks for the pic mine would not let me post. What I trying to figure out is you can clearly see two different leds in the fixture above but mine is only one color. I will try to post a pic of the strip that I received. I also noticed that the leds in my fixture are not clustered like the others I have seen online. New design with different chips?

Now I look like an idiot! Took some pic's and every time I did, it was picking up a blue and violet. I guess that I just can't tell the difference between the two leds with my eyes. Even with that said, I was still hoping for a deeper blue look. Thanks for all your comments.

No you don't look like a idiot. The difference between Blue a RB is very minimal. I can only see it when I'm looking at the reflection or a pic. As for the clusters I don't believe the XHO's have a cluster of LED's only the Techs have a group of 6 LEDs.

Should have gone with the 21LED ReefBar ACTINIC BLUE

He list's the Light spectrum as 453NM so you know its Super blue and no hint of purple/pink

Thanks for posting kc I was about to post and realized you beat me to it lol. I was always curious as to what nm the two leds they use were. They have a unique look to them when compared to other blue/royal blue led strips ive seen.

Rehype, I still remember that post from the day I saw it. It took me a long time to dig it up. Lol. Great pic.
I agree that there is just something about ReefBrites and how they look. I cannot speak for the other LED strips but they all have more wattage for sure.

Secret spectrum... what a load of BS! If a led fixture seller can't or won't tell me the spectrum of their bulb, that's bad enough. To claim it's a secret is just a stupid marketing ploy, IMHO.

I need a couple of fixtures and I'll buy from 21ledusa because they are open and honest about what leds they use.

What bulbs are you running on your ati fixture? And what's the order you have them from front to rear? Do you have a pic of your tank with the lights on? I just ordered the ati 8x54W fixture and not sure how to place the bulbs in what order and what bulbs to get.

On a side note, I'm also looking into buying the reefbrite 48" Blue only XHO fixture. Anyone have any pics to post up of how their tanks look with it on?!

Well I have very mixed feeling on the subject.
First off google Tullio Dell Aquila and you'll see the type of gentlemen you are dealing with. I was ripped off by him and his former lighting company. As for the RB's there is just something about them that looks great. I have recently used the 21LED Ultra Actinics with the reds blocked off. The just did not look as good as the RB's.
