Tanks all set up
Ok, I got my used 220 gallon tank all set up. We basically tore it down and set it back up in the same day. All live rock has been in tank for 6 years or so. Question is when Don you think in should be able to start putting my fish in? It's been running now for 24 hrs and I just checked and all my water test are good. I tested ph,nitrite, nitrate, and ammonia. This is going to be a fish only tank for now.

Did you use the same water and rock (already set up and cycled) from the previous owner? If it was already set up you should be able to use right away

It should be fine to go now, but I would monitor your ammonia for at least 5 days.

New or old water id still watch for a ammonia spike. Sand got all moved around, rock im sure had some die off. I would just wait a week and check your ammonia and nitrites in case you have a mini cycle
