overflow, sump and lighting

Hi guys!

I am just getting started on a 20g long tank build after being out of the hobby for several years. I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on the best overflow box, sump and lighting for my tank. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That seems like a pretty small tank to be sumping... personal choice though.

If you've got the space a standard 10 gallon tank would be perfect for a sump IMO. Maybe an Eshopps overflow (PF-300) and a couple Kessil A80 Tuna Blue fixtures?

If your thinking about a skimmer you might want to check out the AquaticLife 115 Internal Protein Skimmer too. These things have gotten some good reviews lately.

+1
I have done it though. I drilled two holes (one on each side) to make a fuge an ran water through. If the 20 gal is a Dt, I would consider this:

just do a Aquaclear 110 as a "hang-on-back" solution.
