Dosing aquaforest magnesium
hi all ! I want to elevate my magnesium from 1200 to 1350 using aquaforest supplement.
I need to know the correct dose My tank is 700 litters or 185 gallons aprox THanks for the help |

It's just magnesium chloride. You can use this calculator to find the amount to dose;
https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/reef-calculator Make sure you dissolve it in RO water before dosing, and don't raise more than 100 ppm per day. |

10g per 100l = 12.5mg/l rise
so.... 875 grams... (someone check my math please) You can add it to your topoff water to spread it out over days..

Do not raise it more than 100 ppm a day. It would be better if you spread it over a week.

So! I dosed 875 grams in 1 litter of RODI water (0.264172 gallons).
Is this correct? |

The amount of water doesn't matter, as long as it's enough to dissolve the magnesium.
