Tenticals every bit of 2 inches long
Picture does not do it justice

Absolutely! Granted that is a big one, a few LFS in my local area have them even larger in their tanks

Just recently found out it was an Aptaisia.. It's not one of the brown ones... It's red and blue.. It hasn't grown or reproduced.. So I've just left it alone.. Eventually I will have some peppermint shrimp.. If the lfs ever has any in stock... And it will become food

You don't need to wait to buy peppermint shrimp, especially since pep shrimp generally won't eat the large aiptasia. You can get a hypodermic needle and inject the aiptasia with a kalkwasser slurry, lemon juice, boiling water or a commercially available aiptasia killer.

They are trying to sell it to some unsuspecting sole - here's a really cool anemone $40.00

Lol that would be pretty crappie... But I could see them doing that..

I will be transferring tanks soon.. So when I pull that rock.. It will get the butane treatment.
Till then.. I'm not all that concerned till then

I left my apatasia along for like a year because it never spread then all of a sudden I noticed 2-4 new ones. I tired killing them with the injections. I killed that one but seem to be getting more and more. Also ny tank is a 265 so it's sometimes hard to get to them all. So I bought 8 Florida peppermint shrimps and they where all gone in 3 days. Make sure you buy the ones from Florida. The other ones don't eAt apatasia. But you can also leave it in your tank. Everyone has a different threshold for them. They do do some good by cleaning the water too . Although a few little ones won't do much

Recently added a CBB and don't see small ones anymore. I do see big one that I assume he can't get to so they grow in size. Took care of them yesterday with some Aptasia-X.
