Return pump to fit EShopps Nano R Cube

I have a sicce pump that just barely fits but it rattles around the inside of the return section. I'm looking for something that can produce enough flow for a total of 50gallon system and fit in the return section of this sump. http://www.eshopps.com/products/filters/refugium/cube/ I had originally bought a quiet one pro 4000 because the dimensions in comparison with the dimensions on the sump specs seemed to match up however it wouldn't fit (was very close). Anyone have any other recommendations? Thanks! I would probably be willing to spend a bit more on something that has variable speeds and a bit more powerful that can be ramped down for reduced noise.

Have you tried to put a silicone mat all around the pump where it's rattling against the wall? Silicone mats work wonders with dampening vibrations. What are the return chamber dimensions? I don't see it listed in the specs that you linked to.

I'm at work or I would measure. Ya I actually did have a silicone mat surrounding it and it still rattled a bit. The pump actually started rattling like crazy recently but I'm working on warranty replacement for it now and have a temporary solution thats not optimal. I found this on ebay 3.5" x 5.5" for the return chamber. I can confirm that the sicce 3.0 of 4.84" x 3.35" x 4.13" does fit. Its snug but it goes in and has some room on the length end. the width is the real issue of the 3.5" I'll be redoing the return plumbing which may fix some of the noise issue when I replace the pump.

I guess something like http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/quietp...ump-skimz.html would work but I'd be losing about 200gph... Could compensate with another circulation pump in the tank I guess. Without the controlability the ehiem compactONs seem small and powerful albiet a bit pricey without the ability to ramp down the speed for less noise...

Hmm maybe a http://www.aquacave.com/current-usa-...1-050-gph.html would fit and I could take the flow down to about 60-70%

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSISWRQ...a-312272913836 this even shows it in the sump i have but not the return chamber....
