Octo 1000 protein simmmer bubbles

Hello can anyone tell me if why my octo skimmer has bubbles I am just starting to set up a 50 gallon reef tank been running for 3 days

It is good for the skimmer to create bubbles inside of itself. It will still bubble up even though you just started the tank. I may take some time to notice any nasty stuff being skimmed from the water.
