ATI T5 36" 6 bulb fixture for me. Proven and reliable. Less power used then MH and less heat. 6 bulbs allow me to endlessly tweak the color until I am happy.

All led all the time! More than enough light (mine run at 70% of what they are capable of) and they have BY FAR the best control of intensity, color and mood (sunrise/sunset/ bright blue for max fluorescence).

On controlability -

I run 2 Radion gen 4s on the WXM module and I have to admit the amount of controlability is overwhelming sometimes for me. Lightning? Yup. I gave it a try. The wife told me to stop it that it was going to throw everything in the tank into an epileptic seizure.

I use a pair of AI Sol Blues on my 120g (4x2x2) SPS dominant DT. They are set to 45W/65B/65RB and come on at 10AM, off at 10PM with a short ramp up and a slightly longer ramp down. I cannot stick my arm in the tank without making frags, and color is excellent in all.

I use a pair of Kessil A360W tuna blues on my 60g (4x2x12") FT. They are set to be about the same color as the AI Sol's and are at about 45% intensity. Even there I have to carefully acclimate new frags from the DT to prevent bleaching them out. They are on the same schedule as the DT without the ramping.

I used to use T12 VHO (20+ years worth) and they were great - IMHO it is difficult to get the same color with anything else, especially the actinic bulbs. When I switched to all LED, I notices a significant drop in the electric bill and have not had to buy a bulb in over 3 years. Those two reasons alone made the switch a no-brainer for me.

My 125g DT and 50g display refugium have Reef Breeders Photon V2 (and I've added two 21ledusa strip leds to the DT.

My 4'x2'x14" shallow reef has a unavailable fixture (at least for now) and my 25g frag tank has a new fixture, a ReeFi-Lab pendant that I like better and better every day. The corals in the frag tank have been growing like crazy since I fired up this fixture a couple of months ago.

Currently I have 3 120 watt evolution led fixtures above my 190 gallon and the factory power compact in the 14 gallon bio cube. I just received the Led's from rapid led to do my diy Lighting for the bio cube. Waiting for the heatsink to come in the mail and if it turns out how I hope I'll be doing a full custom diy for the 190.

I think Led's give the best colors and I have amazing growth with them as well.

And here is the heatsink I'm going to use for my diy build to relight my 190 gallon. 70"x10"x2". This thing is a beast!
