need help! New to the marine hobby.
hello! I have a 5 gal. evo salt water tank. recently I lost 2 clown fish and have no clue why.. I also have an unknown friend that came with my live rock (will post a picture). my main concern is why am I losing my little guys and my levels are good. I also have a jelly like substance,white in color, please lend my your knowledge!

saltwater test kit shows all is well and my hydrometer reads 32 1.024 and 1.025

Did you cycle the tank? 2 clowns in only 5 gallons could be an oxygenation issue, could be an ammonia isssue, and your white slime is almost certainly a bacterial sheet which could also deplete oxygen. Go to Imgur and go through procedures on the BBCopy function.

This is why I like photobucket. They automatically resize the image for forums if you copy/paste the [img][/img] tags

This reminds me when I first started out without much knowledge. There maybe an ammonia spike. What are your parameters?

tank is about 2 months old. testing levels were ok nitrite was a bit high and I did a 60% water change. then added phose guard. tank seems to be doing a lot better. but my main concern now is that white jelly like substance. it seems to be subsiding a little. also can someone identify the fish that is hiding in the coral please?
