Reefkeeper Elite - ATO and Power Outage
I posted this in the Digital Aquatics forum as well, but thought I would here as well. Just started up my 140 cube and setup a dual float switch for ATO running off a RKE SL1 module. My concern is, I have a herbie style internal overflow in the DT and it works well, but it takes 3-5 minutes to settle down in the event of a power outage where the water level in the sump reaches a normal level. What I am trying to avoid is the ATO pump kicking on during this time. Its fine with a water change because I can unplug the pump from the RKE but a power outage I cannot so wondering if there is some way to configure a delay on the channel the pump is plugged into so when the power comes back on, the pump is not active for a set period of time?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks |

Bump - any opinion here? It actually takes around 15 minutes for the water level in the sump to return to normal - can't have the low level float switch kicking on during that time.
