Acclimate a Mini Maxi?

What is the correct way to acclimate a Mini-Maxi anemone? I find a number of varying opinions over the years through searching and can't find a straight answer.
Is it enough to just float and dump them in like with most corals? Or are they sensitive enough to require more care like cup or drip acclimation?

I would definitely drip acclimate. Corals are one thing, anemones are a little different IME.

Temp acclimate then drip for an hour is what I do with all anemones. Maxi minis are especially hardy so I bet you could just dump them in and they would be fine but I always play it safe.

Only need to acclimate for temp and salinity, really. Float for the former, but most inverts come in at 1.025, so what's to acclimate.

From where? Am I to assume that all of the dealers out there run their tanks the same way? There seems to be a lot of variations when somebody posts a poll on salinity sometimes. Hmm.

Well, you should always ask; but generally sellers run their fish systems at 1.015-1.020 and their invert systems at 1.024-1.026. Latter is not material enough to inflict a protracted drip acclimation IMO.
