How do I check my impeller?
I have a bubble blaster hy-3000s for my RO skimmer. In truth I've never liked this pump because it has always just stopped randomly a few months after I got it. Normally I just rotate the pinwheel and it starts up. Now it won't turn on at all. It's clean with no signs of damage that I can see. Is there a way to see if the impeller is burned out or is it the motor? I can hear a sound coming out of the pump when I plug it in, but it shuts off after a few tries to run. I would rather not waste $80 on an impeller if that isn't the problem. Anyone know another replacement pump that isn't $250+? Thanks

coralVue services/warranties the bubble blaster pumps. They have a 3 yr warranty. Give coralvue a call, they have excellent customer service even if it's out of warranty.
