You can adjust the cabinet doors with the little screw under the metal cap on the hinge

How do you like the gyre so far? I've been looking at it but I am leaning back towards an MP40qd. The neptune WAV looks cool but I've read its way too powerful for a reefer 250

Well, I got busy and have neglected this thread so here is an update.
Skimz Skimmer - So far, I'm not impressed and it's really giving me fits. I plan to see if BRS will exchange it for another one or let me exchange for a Reef Octopus or Bubble Magus. The Tunze ATO and my 16 gallon top off reservoir have been amazing. I can go 2 weeks I believe without doing anything. I went a week and a half but then I thought I should top off cause I'm not sure if it's good for 16 gallons to just sit there for two weeks. I wonder if I need a pump to keep it moving? The new Kessil AP700 has been pretty rock solid so far and I'm playing with my light setup. Livestock so far includes: 2 Black Ice Clowns - These guys will already come to my hands when I feed pellets. Green Star Polyp - I could watch the GSP all day long flowing and it's growing like crazy. 3 Turbo Snails and 3 Trochus Snails - All doing a good job of cleaning. 1 Conch Snail - doing a good job keeping the sand clean 1 Starry Blenny - This guy has a lot of character. The wife and kids name him Merlin from the Disney movie Sword and the Stone. Lately, he's been chillin in the GSP. Today, we added a beautiful FrogSpawn, green monitpor capricornis, a pink with green polyp stylophora. I'm keeping the lights down low on deep blue right now so the iPhone takes terrible pics in the blue light but I'll add some better pics later. |

Quick question as im setting up my 250 this weekend. What plumbing part did you use to go from the 1" outlet on the return pump to the 3/4" tube?

Looks good! I love my 250 that I got a couple months ago. It looks like we're right around the same stage. Just a few fish and couple corals
