2 Days and Torch Won't Open... help....?
My green torch coral hasn't opened for two days since my last water change. Half is completely shriveled and slightly white... The other half is barely opening. I don't know why it's like this..... My other coral is perfectly fine.

I have had issues with the euphillia group myself. Following for interest.
I find them to be sensitive and have had the same problem. Is the coral receding? If you can see skeleton near the head/mouth it is most likely a goner. Try placing it in a lower flow environment. I did that and was able to save a hammer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My salinity is at 1.025-6, which is what it has always been at, so it shouldn't have shocked the coral...
And the coral is receding.. but only half of it. Its only one head, and so I don't think I can frag it.... Sorry the picture is bad, but can you see what I am talking about?? Thanks for the help ![]() |
