Which 125?

Hey guys
I want to upgrade from 90g to 125
What would be better
60 x 24 x 20
Or 72 x 18 x 22
Want your advices

I'm going with the 1st one as well. That 18" gets to be annoying down the road.

I think it depends on what you plan for the tank. For example, if you wanted a few tangs, they appreciate length - so the 6' long tank would be better. If you were prioritizing corals, then the 24" front to back depth is better. If it were me, I'd skip the incrementalism and go right to a 6' 180.

BTW, the dimensions you gave are not the standard ones - are you planning a custom tank. My 120XH, is 60"x18"x26".

Got back into the hobby ..... planned to keep it simple ..... yeah, right ..... clearly I need a new plan! Pet peeve: anemones host clowns; clowns do not host anemones!

Current Tank Info: 450 Reef; 120 refugium; 60 Frag Tank, 30 Introduction tank; multiple QTs
