Kessel Control night light

I have the kessel controller and currently have it shut off all the way at night. If I just do it at the night light setting instead of being all the way off could I hurt anything? I would prefer a night light to being totally off.

When i used to have my kessil 360 WE my lights were to 10 am to 9.00 pm and no lights in between

Total darkness is a good thing.

Trouble is that none of the kessil lights actually dim down low enough to function as a night light - they're too bright even at the lowest setting.

The lowest setting is 5% after that does not work

No.. That is still enough light with a Kessil to cause photosynthesis.
