Your giving stupid advise right now as there is no debate that RO/DI is factually needed to run a reef tank long term. There are no successful long term coral tanks that do not use RO/DI. Anyone can do this for a short while on tap, its just not advised. I learned the hard way and if I seem to possess to much vitriol its because I often did not listen, and don't want to see people making the same mistakes I made when I was new. |

I'm sure there are successful reefers who use tap.. but I'm not here to debate or get into a heated argument.
I was able to get a BRS Standard 4 stage RO unit with the add-on DI unit from a local person who recently got out of the hobby! I just need to replace the media/filters and I'm good to go! |
