Chaeto reactors

In your opinion what would be a good reactor for a red sea 450; to put in the sump. Do these reduce nitrates?

A simple, cheap solution is to hang a LED spotlight, or two, from Home Depot over the sump. That's essentially what I did, except I used Kessil pendants instead.

Yes, chaeto will remove consume nitrates and phosphates, as any plant will do, as it grows.
