Encasing driftwood in epoxy
I was researching driftwood in a saltwater tank. I have a 20 gallon display refugium and wanted to add the small driftwood pieces in- going for a "backwaters" type theme. They are about 12" long each. The consensus is the leaching PO4 and tannins.
What if I encase the driftwood pieces in epoxy? I have some 2 part expoxy laying around over here and got to thinking... |

Living color probably has fake driftwood that would be safe.

I went with fake wood in my tank after realizing real wood was way too much trouble.
