Need help with Eshopps Axium X-160 Assemby
Hi, and Merry Xmas everyone.
Opening and assembling my new Eshopps skimmer early for Xmas. Everything looks straightforward, except the venturi came with a small rubber O-ring loosely packed inside. I can't figure out what this is for or where it is to be installed. The venturi itself already has a larger O-ring installed where it seats into the pump, so the purpose of this smaller one confuses me. Does anyone know? Thanks for any help. John |

If you figure it out, let me know! I just purchased an ESHOPPS S200 and I had the same o-ring. It was sitting inside the Venturi. As this is for a upgrade tank build, it will be a few weeks before I use it.
I might email them and pose the question.

Hi Member,
Already sent an email to Eshopps about the o-ring. I also cracked the bubble plate I guess by making it too tight (even though the instructions said to make it tight). So I asked Eshopps where I could buy a replacement bubble plate - couldn't find any sources online. I think the bubble plate I have will still work, just want it to be pristine since it is brand new. |

Bummer on the plate. Good luck!
If you hear back let me know. I’ll try to, and report if I hear anything.

All,
Just a follow up to the above: 1. Spoke to customer service at Eshopps. The small whitish o-ring goes around the pump outlet to the bubble plate. There is already a black o-ring installed in this location. Eshopps told me the small white o-ring is an extra in case the black one breaks/splits. 2. Regarding the bubble plate that I cracked by tightening too hard. Eshopps sent me a replacement (just arrived today) at no charge. Just needed to send them photos of the cracked plate and a copy of my receipt. Received the replacement in one week! Great customer service IMHO. |

Great thanks for the update!
Also great to hear ESHOPPS is a stand up company with regards to your issue.
