algae scrubber screen storage

I have to take my ATS off-line for a few weeks. What is a good way to store the screen. Keep in the dark in SW? Keep under limited light and "feed" in SW? Dry it out?

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you expect the algae on it to stay alive then I would store it wet..

What about just turning the light off on it?
No idea why you need to take it offline though..

Long story... but I had a terrible GHA problem from when my old skimmer cracked and it took me 6 weeks to get the new one broken in. During that time I implemented an algae scrubber that took off really well and established a screen that is growing nicely and my phosphate and nitrate levels are now well under control.

Unfortunately, despite a lot of manual removal I still have a fair amount of GHA that I can't get rid of. So I am going to treat the tank with fluconazole for 14-21 days to finish it off. I want to preserve the scrubber screen as much as possible during that time.

What did you end up doing? I am in the same situation. My scrubber has stopped the spread of GHA but is not out competing the display growth. I feel like I need to get rid of the GHA in the display then put the scrubber back online so that it can out compete. I am starting fluconazole this weekend and I dont want to have to re establish the scrubber once treatment is over.
