Sump Manifold
Hi Dear Members,
I wanna learn the difference between 2 different position of possible sump manifold. First position is shown in photo as #1. At this position sump manifold is inline with return . Second position is shown in photo as #2. At this position sump manifold is seperated with "T" and has a dead end. Tank is 120-140 g with Ecotech Marine Vectra M return pump. 1750 g/h max if I amnt wrong. In which position tank will get enough circulation of water? Or which choice may reduce the pressure of return water? Thanks in advance. |

the bigger concern should be what orientation gives you the cleanest look and less issue with clearance. the first design may require you to loop your lines to allow attachment to your devices.
the other things is that your return pump is plenty large for a system that size and regardless of the design of your manifold you're likely going to be dialling it back anyway.
