Mine has actually started eating new life spectrum 1 mm sinking pellets. See if the fish will go for it first. This was a new development for me as it only ate frozen food in the past.

They can be tricky due to their mouth size. I would suggest flakes or new life spectrum pellets

Great food pellet. My fish love this from Hikari even better. I mix them together and the Hikari go quickly. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/marin...od-hikari.html

I feed a variety of frozen and pellet daily. My longnose hawkfish actually has been going for me PE Mysis pellets trying to pick them off the top of the water. I’m not positive he is getting any but he sure tries hard.

Longnose hawkfish will eat pellets, although it may take a while before they'll try.
