Flame angel just went Freddy Krueger on my corals

Any chance my flame angel will stop his destruction. Took out 2 open brain corals and a stylophora?

Remove it.. mine did the same with acan and had to remove the entire the aquascape to take him out.. im sorry that it happened to you.. but remove him before more damage.. if you can wait, try to feed some nori and see if it makes him to nip less .. good luck!

Got em out took all morning. Had to take all the rocks out and put em in my brute mixing container. Took all the corals and put them in my quarantine tank... then wouldn’t ya know he wasn’t in the tank anymore. Looked in the overflow looked in the filter sock looked on the carpet. Nothing! So I put all the rocks back did a new aquascape. And the little bugger was in the brute can just hangin out. Must have been crammed way up in a hole in the live rock when I was taking it all out. He’s a Houdini and a terror. He’s in my quarantine now to settle down so I can take him back to the lfs. Man I really liked that fish but I like my corals a little bit better! Happy reefing

good luck. i had a sailfin tang back in the days that went turbo on my clams. the fish trap that worked for me all the time is the aquamedic fishtrap. a little pricey but works every time.

Its a shame some nice looking fish are not reef safe. There are recent threads about reef safety of buttlerfly fish and angel fish.
I suppose it would not be a bad idea to keep them in a fish only with live rock tank.
