K1 Media help needed

What are some ways I can get my new K1 media seeded?

Since you double posted in 2 subforums.. Ill just copy my reply here too..

Throw it in an existing tank?
Just cycle it like you would any tank?
I don't know what resources/stipulations/needs you have available to you but there is nothing "special" that needs to be done to it..

I’m going to be using the K1 for a brand new grow out system for Clownfish I am breeding. Not using any live rock. I bought some Fritz Turbo Start today and have added it to my 55g barrel with new salt water along with the K1 media.

Sounds good..
The process is just like cycling a tank with rock...
Either chuck in a table shrimp or sprinkle some flake food in for a couple days or buy some bacterial in a bottle(turbo start) and dump that in.. or just let it happen..
Bacteria is everywhere.. a tank will even cycle on its own with zero input from a user..

Bacterial just wants surface area.. Be it rock or plastic it doesn't seem to care..
