Grey dusts over live rocks and live sand ?

Im not sure what this grey dust looking thing is that is covering all over my rocks and live sand. If i leave it on my rocks it hardens as days go on and its harder to get it off. Does anyone know what it could be? And how can i prevent this? Is this phosphate?

Grey dust sounds like detritus. Completely normal. But you do want to manage it.

PS Website did not load for me either.

I cannot load the Pics.

However could that be some kind of percipitation between Ca and Alk because of Mg deficiency?

Just a thought....
