ATS Questions

Hi all,

So I’m still planning and doing more research I am curious on algae scrubbers people have made / have experience with. I admit the less tank room would be appreciative to me and hoping to see images. I had my fuge ideas all set up ready to work then I saw this.

I’d be running it just in a 65g atm but curious for future refrence when i get / build bigge tanks as well.

So mainly questions:

What equipment do you run with your ATS?
If you had a smaller tank (60G ) compared to larger (200G) would that change your prefrence on what you ran fug or ats?
Did you diy the ATS or buy everything?
How do you decide how big of an ats you need?
Theoretically would a larger ats need to be cleaned less often than a smaller for the same size tank?

I did a search and didn’t find much recent information if there’s a thread i missed please point me. In the right direction i would appreciate it.

Thank you in advanced for information and especially pictures!!
