Opinions on Vertex 100
So I have this skimmer but the pump is shot. I am upgrading my tank and was going through my gear to see what I need and found this skimmer. It is in great shape and it's a shame to just sit so here is my question. Anyone ever mod the intake for the pump or better yet find a pump that fits? Suggestions? TIA.

Its a great skimmer, have you done a search to see what other pumps people are using on theres. I have seen lots of people mod the bigger Vertex skimmers with different pumps.

It's an older one and they don't make that pump anymore.

In a quick search of the forum, it looks like the TUNZE HYDROFOAMER 9410 is a perfect replacement.
