I should have updated. Pump test is postponed until the temp gets a little about 14oF. Someone lied to me when they told me the south doesn’t get too cold in the winter. I filled the brute up with 35gallons, ran to HD for supplies, cut the pipe etc and the brute had iced over. Cracked the ice, threw the pump in and plugged it in. What I can say at this point is that I was getting flow out of 1.5 inch pvc, 5 foot vertical, 20 foot horizontal, and 6 feet vertical (maybe 13 foot combined head) with the pump set to 30 (lowest it would go). It was pulling 34 watts at that point as reported on the unit. I couldn’t measure the output volume but it cleaned out 30 gallons (down to the pump intake) in about a minute and a half, so about 1200 gph. Only 1 data point some I’m holding off on an assessment. Will update after more complete testing ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I myself am looking at a similar setup, 12’ vertical with a 15’ horizontal run and am trying to decide between that pump or a reeflo hammerhead/barracuda |

I use a Jabao dcs12000 and LOVE it. It's actually funny seeing how many people here are advocating Jabao pumps since chinese products tend to get a bad rap. That said, I love mine. It's dead silent and power to spare.
