How are these Tariffs going to effect Apex pricing?
All their electronic PCB boards are made in China. So will this effect APEX pricing? Should I upgrade to the APEX 2016 now?

Doubt you'll get a useful answer from Neptune. If I was them, I'd tell you "SURE! Great time to upgrade!!"
But seriously... I think it's still too early for anyone doing any manufacturing to really know where this is going. From my own world, it seems like folks are biting their lips not wanting to raise prices to customers - both consumer or industrial... yet. But if it doesn't get resolved quickly, the prices *will* increase on pretty much everything. In my position, I'm already having to re-specify and scramble for new sources... and that's not even taking into account the raw material prices increases we're seeing. You can't re-source things overnight, and even if we're able to maintain the same costs with different sources the increase in overhead to do that will alone drive up costs. It's not going to be pretty when the masses start seeing the effects. |
