Nitrate problem: Aquaripure Filter
I have a long-standing Nitrate problem in my tank (RSM130). I've tried everything. Changing some of my live-rock, vodka dosing, Prodibio. Nothing works.
I'm currently controlling this (and the attendant algae problem) with 10G per week (33%) water changes, which are a pain, but work OK. I just saw an ad for Aquaripure Nitrate filters. Some of the reviews say they got their nitrates down to 0; other had less good results. Does anyone have experience with this? Gbose |

IMO if carbon dosing isn't working you
A) did it wrong or didn't wait long enough B) Are massively overfeeding C) Have way too little live rock for surface area for bacteria/low bacterial count D) see A AFAIK Aquaripure is just sulfur..

How old is the tank?
What are your nitrate levels? What are your phosphate levels? How much rock do you have in the tank? Got a full tank picture? Please tell us about your vodka dosing experiment.. How much. How often..How long? ,etc... Please answer ALL of those questions as best as you can and we can likely help..
