Who here uses CPR Hang on Overflow Box? I have a question

Please respond if you have one of these.. I want to discuss how you installed the air nipple that starts and keeps the siphon atop the box..

is it the clear nipple or black one.. did you glue it in place or did it screw on? if glued what type of glue did you use?
Thanks

I run 2 CPR boxes. There is only one nipple at the top. No glue, just shoved a piece of air tube over it.
Cheers! Mark

I know, but mine broke so they sent me another one.. they sent me a black one when mine was clear.. it doesnt screw in tight, I think I may have to glue it down.

I would think you could put a little bit of frag glue around the nipple and then screw in.

I don't have a CPR but if it's threaded could you put some Teflon tape on the threads to help tighten the piece you're trying to screw in?

Just a thought.
