ESV two part or BRS Dry mix

Ive been using ESV 5 gal two parts for years but shipping and breaking up the Alk/Calc due to settling in the buckets is a PIA.
Would BRS dry mix be better and easier ? Ive never tried it and wondering how easy it is to mix.

For the Alk, what should I get Soda Ash ??

Make your own. Much cheaper. Here are instructions.
