Nitrates test kit
Hello,
I am currently using a salifert test kit but finding it hard to find where my nitrates are currently at. I can tell they are between 10 and 25ppm but really would like to be a bit more precise, is there such a test kit? Thanks

Seachem test is good, easy to read and tests both nitrite and nitrate. Add water then one drop of reagent then read nitrite level. Add second reagent and read nitrate. It's a color test but they give you a very accurate comparison color scale

Red Sea Pro, good down to 0.25 ppm. I use the Algae Control Pro kit for NO3 and PO4.

+1 Never had a test more accurate then the red sea pro. Good down to .25 and goes as high as 64(just have to dilute the sample with RO/DI).

I had the same issue switched over to LaMotte . A little pricy for the first kit .But after that you can purchase refill units.
