Sick clownfish. Please help.
Hey guys. I bought 2 clownfish from petco. None of them want to eat and it’s been 5 days. I also noticed today that there poop is white and stringy. How can I get them back to good health. What do you guys recommend? I have a quarantine tank so I can use whatever is fastest without worrying about killing coral.

The white poop is likely either intestinal worms or internal flagellates. It would be optimal to food soak praziquantel + metronidazole (i.e. API General Cure), but being they are not eating all you can do is dose General Cure into a QT. If you can't find General Cure, look for Seachem Metroplex.

I read something similar to that (I have never tried it myself) but since white stringy can mean either worms or parasites, it is best to combine something (like Metroplex and Prazipro) that covers both options at once.
Clowns do best in their own turf, do you have anything else that might bully them so badly that they haven't found anywhere to stay but a corner or anything otherwise out of the ordinary that you might think of? |

I vote internal parasite. I would also vote praziquantel as Dr. Hublem suggest.
