Recommendation on replacing old CF/MH lighting with LED?

I have a ten year old 48" Coralife hood with 2x 96w compact fluorescent and 2x 150w metal halide (along with some blue LEDs for night lighting) on my 90g reef tank. I hate the thing for many reasons but, TLDR: it's time to replace it.

I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations or could give me an opinion on whether modern LEDs can replace the whole thing? I only run the MH for a few hours a day because frankly I'm kind of afraid of them (so hot and I'm worried that if the fan in there dies it will cause a fire).

Any pointers to things I should be considering would be appreciated. Thanks.

Leds today are certainly capable of growing corals of all types...
Budget and tank dimensions will help greatly in offering suggestions..
