Raise calcium 10 or 20 ppm
I have b ionic 16 oz. With the measuring cup.. I need to increase calcium a bit..
I'm at 400 and want to get to 420.. Dkh is at 8 mag 1280 Should this be done slowly like 1 capful a day or can I just dump the required capful amount to raise calcium? I think it's about 4 total cap fuels to raise 20ppm.. Is mag ok? Thx Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk Last edited by Daddyrawg; 11/18/2019 at 12:02 AM. |

^^^This^^^
You can go up to 50ppm/day with Calcium and have no problems at all. When I dose Magnesium (rarely - water changes generally are more than enough) I just use the BRS calculator and dump in the suggested amount to the sump, up to about 100ppm/dayOnce again, no problems at all. With Alkalinity I try to spread it out over a few days - no more than about 1.4dkh/day
